Chris Paul

Chris Paul is a professional basketball player that is a star point guard for the Los Angeles Clippers. He was drafted in 2005 by the New Orleans Hornets in round 1 and he was the 4th pick in the draft. He is a 2x Gold Medalist and was the USA Basketball Male Athlete of the year in 2004. Paul went to college at Wake Forest University.

Awards

Helped lead Wake Forest to 48 wins in two seasons, two NCAA Tournament berths and one Sweet 16 appearance.
Ranks seventh in school history with 395 career assists and seventh in steals.
Second on the team in scoring, first in assists and steals.
Only player in the NBA to average 19+ points, 10+ assists and 1.5+ steals. Additionally, became one of only three players since 1973-74 to sustain those averages over the course of an entire season.

In the 2011-2012 season Paul was traded from the hornets to the clippers and later on that year he broke his career high assists record. He is also an 8x NBA all star and in 2013 he had won the mvp all star game award. Paul is now 16th in the all-time assists leaders. He has also been on the All-defensive first team 5 times. In the past 4 years Chris Paul has lead the league in assist.
